Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley
Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley has long been Seattle’s premiere concert nightclub, focusing on diverse jazz performances that will appeal to afficianados as well as casual music fans.
Consistently rated “Best Jazz Club” by the various magazines, newspapers, and organizations that vote and award such things, Jazz Alley originally opened in 1979 in the University District. At that location is staked out its reputation as an intimate bistro, popular with both college students and die-hard jazz fans.
In 1985, Jazz Alley relocated to its current home downtown, and although it is a much larger, state of the art facility, it still works to maintain the original cozy bistro ambiance. Many of the customers have been coming to listen jazz since it first opened.
Artists of both local and international renown perform at Jazz Alley, and the admission charge varies from week to week depending on the artist. Admission does not include cocktails or food. A Senior discount (62+) of 20% is available on Wednesdays and Sundays. Half price for students, with ID, is available on the first sets on Wednesday, and second sets on Thursday.
Check the calendar to view a list of the upcoming artists, and pricing.
Reservations are accepted for dinner and cocktails, and are recommended, although not required. Preferential seating is given to dinner guests. Dinners are representative of Northwest Cuisine, and range from $18 to $39. Reservations are available by phone, online or through Ticketmaster.
