New Year’s Resolutions at The Seattle Traveler
I think a lot about resolutions, and put a great deal of effort into making my list. Some are the same from year to year — become a better person — and some are specifically focused on a particular area of my life.
Here are my travel resolutions for The Seattle Traveler:
- Become less of a recluse. Sometimes when I get home from traveling, I just want to stay home. In my house. And never leave. This next year I am going to work on getting out more, and discovering all that Seattle has to offer.
- Go to new places. I have a list of favorite places that I really, REALLY love, and it’s too easy to get in the habit of going back to them. That’s great fun, of course, but I also need to remember to try out new places.
- Never go to a “new” place during the first two weeks that it is open. Better yet, don’t go for the first month. There are still lots of kinks to work out, so let the place take care of them, and then give it a fair try.
- Write informative, interesting blog posts on a variety of topics about the greater Seattle/Tacoma area.
- Be a good citizen of the blog community.
Did you make resolutions? If so, please take a moment and share them in the comments.
