Seattle Men’s Chorus: That 80’s Show

Seattle Mens Choir: That 80’s ShowIf your decade was the 80’s, the Seattle Men’s Chorus is sure to have you dancing in the aisle with “That 80’s Show,” and music from Boy George, George Michael,  Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Stipe, and others.

This performance will feature a combination of a cappella choir (Aedonis, the classical ensemble of the choir) with a little comedic vaudeville (Captain Smartypants, part a cappella and part comedy improv troupe).

From edgy lyrics and synthetic beats to iconic music videos and films like Footloose and Flashdance, the men take on the era that dares to ask the question, “Do you wanna funk?”
