Walk With Dinosaurs this Summer
The Tacoma Dome will become a summertime Jurassic Park, with “Walking with Dinosaurs — The Live Experience.”
Walking with Dinosaurs is based on the BBC documentary series of the same name, and is both scientifically accurate, educational, and entertaining as it takes you back a couple hundred million years ago the the Triassic Period. The show features 15 life-sized dinosaurs, including the very popular King of the Dinosaurs, T-Rex, and a personal favorite, the spiny backed Stegasaurus. As they come to life before your eyes, you can see them move, walk, and fight, and hear them roar.
Location: Tacoma Dome, 2727 East D Street (Tacoma)
Dates & Times: July 11th – 15th. Evening performances at 7:30 pm, Matinees on Friday – Sunday.
Tickets: $24.50 – $79.50, available at the Tacoma Dome box office or through Ticketmaster. Service charges apply.
Parking: Numerous public parking lots (Lots A-J) located around the perimeter of the Tacoma Dome. Parking fee is typically $10. Additional on-street parking and private lots are also available nearby.
The Tacoma show is the first on a two year North American Tour. Following Tacoma, the show heads off to the Eastern side of the state, with performances July 17-22 at the Spokane Arena.
NOTE: The fight scene in the video seems pretty intense for young children. While the show is all-ages appropriate, it seems a little intense for the youngest viewers.
