The Seattle Burger Debate
I’ve had a hankering for a burger the last few days. Not a highbrow, gourmet, specialty burger, but a good, old-fashioned, juicy one, dripping with just the right amount of flavoring and condiments, and yes, even grease. Maybe a crisp pickle on the side, and if the fries are delicious as well, even better.
So I asked around about where to go for a good burger, and am accumulating the answers.
My co-worker Annabelle offered up four of her favorites, Madrona Eatery & Ale House, Deluxe Bar & Grill (Capitol Hill), Six Arms Pub, and Palace Kitchen.
A friend offered up Pyramid Ale House and Kidd Valley.
I’ve always been partial to Dick’s. Yes, it’s fast food, but this family-owned chain uses fresh beef andother ingredients, and also has a reputation for fair pay and excellent working conditions.
How about you? When you’re jonesing for a burger where do you head? Please leave your answer in the comments below.
