Lettuce Show You How to Plant a Salad Garden

Learn to grow lettuce at Seattle Tilth How great would it be to walk out into your back yard to get the lettuce you need for a salad for dinner tonight?  With a little bit of knowledge, and some assistance from Seattle Tilth, it can be nearly as simple as driving to the supermarket.

You can get that knowledge at a Salad Gardening Workshop.  You’ll need an approximate four foot square plot of ground, a little planning, and an hour and a half for the workshop.  A little effort can yield plentiful results.

Location:  Seattle Tilth, Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Avenue North (map it).

Date & Time:  August 25th, 11 am – 12:30 pm.

Cost:  $20 ($15 for members)

Advance registration required.
