Look at What $30 Gets You

Dine Around Seattle

Whatever happened to 25 for $25?

Like everything, the price of dining has gone up, so this November’s classic is back as “Dine Around Seattle.”  It’s the same great concepts, with a few changes.  The meals are now 3-course dinners, and the price is $30 (instead of $25) and there are 30 Seattle area restaurants participating (instead of 25).

There are some great restaurants on the participating list, including a few of my favorites:

  • Barking Frog
  • Barolo
  • Campagne
  • Etta’s
  • Wild Ginger

A few of the restaurants also offer a lunch menu for $15.

Location:  Various Seattle area restaurants

Dates & Times:  November, Sunday – Thursday (excluding Thanksgiving).  All restaurants are open for dinner, a few are open for lunch.

Price:  $30 for a 3-course dinner; beverages, tax, and tip not included.  Lunches are $15.

Seattle has some great restaurants, with fabulous chefs.  There’s no excuse now not to try someplace new!

I really miss Seattle when this promotion comes around, the value is unbeatable. Our top four:

    Yarrow Bay Grill,
    Market Street,
    Campagne, and
    Cascadia Restaurant.

Some offer wine flights to compliment the meals, and Yarrow Bay has a great coffee service.

It’s a good list this year, Steve, and includes some old favorites as well as a few new places. While I’m currently travelng, I’m hoping to be back in time to check out at least one new place.
