Amazon Gets Fresh

Amazon Fresh As the home of Amazon, there are a lot of loyal customers here in Seattle.  But did you know that they also have groceries?

Well, it’s actually AmazonFresh, which was founded by Amazon, and it’s the Seattle area’s newest online grocery service.

AmazonFresh offers fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable grocery items, including farm-fresh produce and meat, mile, eggs, and even ice cream.  And best of all, you can avoid ruining your budget and your waistline by avoiding all that junk food at the supermarket.  They also offer an assortment of natural, organic, and specialty brands.

Home delivery is currently limited to only a handful of zip codes, with limited delivery in some of them:  98004, 98005, 98006, 98007, 98008, 98033, 98039, 98040, 98102, 98109, 98112, 98116, 98118, 98119, 98122, 98126, 98136, and 98144.

There are also several grocery pick up areas located around the city, focused in heavy business areas.  So if you can’t get home delivery, you may be able to pick up your groceries when you leave the office.

While the service is not in my home, so I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, they promise competitive every day prices, with regularly offered specials along with free pick-up and free delivery (minimum purchase for free delivery).

Once they get to my neighborhood, I’ll give them a try and be back with a proper review of their service.  Until then, does anyone have any feedback about the service, product or price?
