How to Find Washington State Caucus Locations

washington-state-caucuses-thumb My primer on the Washington State caucuses next month drew a lot of questions and comments about where people need to go to participate in the process.

If you wish to attend the Democratic caucus go here.  Follow the links, enter your information, and it should bring up your information.  I had a few friends test it out, some of them were found in the database system, others were not.  Even those that were found couldn’t determine where the caucus was to be held.  It did, however, give an email and phone number to call for more information.

If you wish to attend the Republican caucus go here.  Follow the link to your county for more information, and then click on the caucus locator.  You need to know your precinct to use it quickly.  If you don’t there is a cumbersome look up system.  Friends who tested it out were also unable to locate information, and some were unable to even find their precinct number.  A return to the general county information page gave a list of phone numbers and emails to get more information.

Now there’s no excuse to to participate in the caucus process!

When trying to get to this web site I got the message: “wa-democrats.org expired on 01/16/2008 and is pending renewal or deletion”. Is there somewhere else I should check?

Vote for Obama and have a November election which will be civil, high integrity campaign and people will see Obama is for real and flock to him because he is the one to turn the ship of warfare around — vote Obama and have a landslide Vote for clinton and have a nasty fight ahead with lots of bagage and end up in the Supreme Court with a draw. Its all about electability and read Kristoff in NYTimesblog today
