It’s a Monster Jam!
The attraction of watching big trucks doing wheelies, and watching really big trucks (with wheels as big as I am tall) drive over little cars, escapes me. Well, there was that moment in rush hour traffic a couple weeks ago. . . .
You’ll need to head to Tacoma for this Monster Jam.
Location: Tacoma Dome, 2727 East D Street, Tacoma (map it)
Dates & Times: January 18th – 20th, 2008. Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 2 & 8 pm, and Sunday at 1 & 7 pm.
Tickets: Buy Tickets in advance, $10-20. Price increases on day of show, $2 more for adults and $1 more for kids.
If you want to get up close and personal with these big rigs and the people who drive there, plan on attending the Saturday afternoon show. Preceding that show is a Pit Party. from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Passes are available at Titus Will or Lakewood Ford, or can be purchased at the door for $5. A pit pass and ticket for the Saturday afternoon show are required to enter the Pit Party.
