Carnival of Cities Explained & Enjoyed
One of the enjoyable things that I get to do as a city blogger, is to explore and discover things about Seattle and the surrounding area and then share my discovery with you. I have a fascination with my city, and hope that I can convey that to you.
One of the other enjoyable things that I get to do is meet, mingle, and read about other cities through relationships with other city bloggers. They are as enthusiastic about their cities as I am about my mine.
Many of us get together weekly to share stories about our cities in a Blog Carnival called the Carnival of Cities. It’s a round up of blogs posts about a topic we found fascinating about our city or some city that we’ve visited. I try to be a regular participant in the Carnival of Cities, both because I get to share so much and learn so much.
This week’s Carnival of Cities is hosted by Sheila at Perceptive Travel. After reading the carnival posts each week, I like to talk about my favorite post here. It’s a way of sharing a little slice of another city with you.
My favorite carnival post this week is Do Henry Vilas Zoo Animals Mock Me? The post, written by Kekoa at The Byteful Project, is about the zoo in Madison, Wisconsin. I love zoos, and would bet that I’d love the Henry Vilas Zoo. I’d loved the explanation, and the photo supporting it, that the polar bears were sticking out their tongues at visitors! Head on over to take a read — I think you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!
My contribution to this week’s Carnival of Cities was Say Cheese!, my post about Samish Bay Cheese.

Thank you for including me in this carnival! I’m so glad you enjoyed the photo of the polar bear sticking its tongue out. That photo was a fluke, but a wonderful fluke.
Sorry I took so long to reply, I just noticed my pingback to this article. Better late than never, right?
