Take Your Pet Shopping at Seattle’s Urban Beast

Misha as kitten What do you get the cat or dog who has everything?  Seattle’s Urban Beast can answer that question for you with its store full of everything that your pet needs — or wants.

This upscale pet boutique is located in the newly hip South Lake Union neighborhood, and is decorated and stocked in goodies that will appeal to four-legged shoppers as well as their two-legged owners.  There are cute little doggy sweaters, leash and harnesses, chew toys, cat toys full of heady catnip, a variety of pet food including special blends for dietary concerns, and treats.  While there tends to be more choices for dogs, you should still be able to find something for your frisky feline.  Misha, my urban beast, is in the above photo.

Even the stock of routine pet needs like food and water bowls, litter boxes, and scratching posts, have a stylish flair to them.  There’s no reason to forego style or design when meeting the basic needs of your pet.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and if you can’t seem to make a selection they are helpful in making suggestions and steering you toward a good choice.  While prices trend toward the higher side, they aren’t out of reach.

The store is, of course, pet-friendly.
