Chateau Ste. Michelle announces a little tease of the 2008 Summer Concert Series.  It’s not the full line up — that will be coming later — but tickets for one concert is on sale now, and the other goes on sale Monday.

Mark Knopfler will perform on July 2nd, tickets went on sale on February 29th.  As a special offer, Mark Knopfler online ticket buyers are entitled to receive one free copy of his new album “Kill To Get Crimson” for every two  tickets ordered. Anyone making an online ticket purchase for this show is eligible. This offer will be fulfilled directly by Warner Brothers. You will receive an email following your purchase with information on receiving your CD.

James Taylor will have two shows, on Monday and Tuesday July 21st & 22nd.  Tickets go on sale at 10 am on March 3rd.

Location:  Chateau Ste. Michelle, 14111 NE 145th Street, Woodinville (map it)

Dates & Times:  Mark Knopfler will perform on July 2nd, 7 pm.  James Taylor will perform on July 21st & 22nd, 7 pm.  Gates open at 5 pm.  The show goes on rain or shine.

Tickets:  For the Mark Knopfler show, $105.50 reserved (plastic chairs); $69.50 general admission (festival-style lawn seating).  For the James Taylor shows, $125 reserved, $59.50 general admission.  Tickets are available through Ticketmaster online, as well as through the Chateau Ste. Michelle wine shop.

Parking:  Attendants will direct cars to both onsite and offsite parking areas, and complimentary shuttles are provided.  Carpooling is strongly recommended.
