Ocelot Kittens at Woodland Park Zoo
Some of the cutest residents of Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo are approaching their six week birthday. Two ocelots kittens were born September 23rd to mom Bella and dad Brazil. Ocelots are endangered, and the birth of these two kittens (both female) is great news for the Ocelot Species Survival Plan.
These little ones may look like the common household kitten, but they will eventually grow to around 25-35 pounds, and over 21 feet in length.
The kittens are not yet on view to the public, but are happily at home in the Tropical Rain Forest. Proud papa is on view, but mom and kittens are off the public exhibit.
