A Victorian Country Christmas

Do you long for an old fashioned Christmas?  If so, you’ll want to step back in time at the Western Washington Fairgrounds are transformed into a Victoria village for the 19th annual A Victorian Country Christmas Festival.

You’ll find old-fashioned streets, lined with over 560 Victorian stores, where you can shop for unique gifts.

Or you may want to get lots of holiday ideas and inspiration at the Demonstration Theater.  You can learn to create handcrafted gifts and cook gourmet meals, in the quick and fun demonstrations, and you’ll inspired to try some of these new ideas.  A schedule is here.

Or, you may want to enjoy the entertainment and the food.  The Holiday Jubilee Theater featured concerts and stage shows every hour including:  Stardust Follies, The Silver Spurs Country Western Revue, Michael Peterson, the Singing Nativity and more.   You can find a full schedule of entertainment here.

Or, you may want to enjoy the many family activities at A Victorian Country Christmas.  There are photos with Santa at the Sugar Plum Village, pony rides, hands on craft stations, the Christmas Carousel, Candy Cane Lane, and the enchanted Crystal Castle Theater.  There are even free cookies for the kids.  A list of activities and times are available here.

Or maybe you just want to soak up the mood of an old-fashioned Christmas, and enjoy a trip around the grounds in a horse drawn Victorian carriage or aboard the Santa Tram.

Dates:  November 29th-December 3rd

Hours:  Wednesday-Saturday, 10 am-9 pm.  Sunday 10 am-6 pm

Tickets:  $9 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and students, children under 5 and under are free.  Group discounts are available.  You can pick up a reduced price ticket ($8) at all TOP Food & Drug and Haggen Food & Pharmacy stores.  There is no additional charge for the shows. 

Parking:  Free in lots across from the fairgrounds.

Location:  Puyallup Fairgrounds, 110 9th Avenue SW, Puyallup.
