Bark Your Heart Out at Tuxes & Tails 2007
Do you want to bust out your finest duds, get all dressed up, and go howl at the moon? I’ve got just the event for you – Tuxes & Tails 2007 – the annual fundraiser for the Seattle/King County Humane Society.
This year’s theme is “An Evening in Venice” and is already being called Seattle’s most “barked about” event.
The evening will feature a Celebrity and Pet Fashion Show, with over 40 local celebs with their own pet, or one available for adoption. Other highlights of the evening include dinner, live entertainment, and both a silent and live auction. If you’re itching to make a purchase you can check out some of the auction items in advance.
Not only is this a great night out with your pet, but you’ll be supporting the great work of the Humane Society. All funds raised go directly to provide food, shelter, and veterinary care for animals, and to support spay/neuter services, the Pet Food Bank, and educational programs. This year, the Humane Society hopes to purchase a mobile unit that can serve as a mobile adoption center, be used for classroom visits, and can serve as an emergency vehicle and safe haven in case of disaster. It’s all about finding more homes for more animals, and keeping all of them safe.
Location: Seattle Sheraton Hotel (1400 Sixth Avenue, Downtown) in the Grand Ballroom.
Date & Time: Saturday, April 21st, Silent Auction begins at 5 pm, with dinner at 6:45 pm, with live auction and celebrity and pet fashion to follow.
Tickets: $150 per person, $250 Top Dog Patron (includes preferred seating and gift), $100 for VIP Room Pass (exclusive pre-event reception with complimentary champagne and appetizers, gift, and special VIP Silent Auction section).
