Carnival of Cities: A Street Party
It’s Monday, and even though it’s a holiday here in the U. S., we still have another edition of the Carnival of Cities. This week’s edition, A Street Party, is hosted by Eric at Walkable Neighborhoods.
My contribution to this week’s carnival was Bugs for the Wall at Howard House.
I’m a regular contributor to this weekly Carnival, and always find some great writing offered up by the other participants. I recommend that you head on over to read the full list of articles.
I am, however, going to start mentioning my favorite every week. That’s a tough, tough decision, because there’s always such a variety of topics, styles, and travel genres.
My favorite this week is: It’s Time to Get Your Elvis On at The San Diego Beat, where Carole explains about the upcoming Elvis Marathon. The plan is for 50 Elvis impersonators, wearing full costume and wig, to complete a marathon, thereby setting a new world record. The whole thing just made me chuckle. I mean, how can you get that visual and not chuckle?!
