Carnival of Cities Digerati Edition

Carnival of Cities This week’s Carnival of Cities round up comes from Silicon Valley and The Digerati Life.

I enjoy reading these posts every week, both because I enjoy reading what other travel bloggers have to say, and because I learn something in the process.

My favorite post this week was from fellow b5media blogger Jon, at The DC Traveler.  His post about the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial touched an emotional chord with me.

Every May there are services where the names of officers killed in the line of duty are added to the memorial.  I have officers and families on my flights who were going back to these services.  Sometimes officers are attending as part of an honor guard, paying tribute to their profession.  Other times, regrettably, officers are traveling for a more somber reason, because it is the name of a co-worker that is being added.

The Carnival has a wide variety of cities and topics, so head over to check it out.  You’ll find something that you like!
