Christmas in the Northwest 10
Enjoy the sounds and spirit of the Northwest with Christmas in the Northwest 10, this year’s CD compilation of original compositions as well as new arrangements of well-known Christmas standards.
Since 1985 and the debut Christmas in the Northwest album, sales of the music have raised funds for the Children’s Music Fund, a charitable organization that helps fund projects at Children’s Hospitals in Washington and Oregon. This first release included the hit song "Christmas in the Northwest."
This year’s release is the 10th volume. It features the following tracks:
- Stacie Orrico – Blessed in the Northwest
- Central Services – Holiday, Far Away
- Courtney Jones – My Grown Up Christmas List
- Marika – Christmas Came Early
- WannaBe Idolz – I Wanna Be Blake – I Wanna Be Sanjaya
- Stella By Starlight – One Wish
- Megan Munroe - Most Unlikely Place
- John Bagge & Austin Case – God with Us
- King of Hawaii - Greensleeves
- Andrea Wittgens – Angels We Have Heard On High
- Scott Krippayne – It Wouldn’t Be Christmas
- Mike Strickland with Greta Matassa - I Love the Winter Weather/I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm
- Kids from Cougar Ridge – I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
- Tiffany Carlson – O Come O Come Emanuel
- Greg Otterholt – Mary Did You Know
- Jolie Vigen – Another December
- Tim Noah – Snow, Snow, Snow
The CD is priced at $13.98, and is available at area retailers, including Bartell Drugs, Borders, Fed Meyer, and Top Foods, as well as from Amazon. You can listen to a sampling of the music here.

I saw your blog on Carnival of Cities and had to pay you a visit. I grew up in Tacoma and your blog reminds me of home. Thanks for the CD idea. It will make it into a few stockings.

Thanks for stopping by, Patricia.
I’ve always enjoyed these CD’s and the way they highlight local talent. And it’s for such a good cause, too!
I hope you get back to this area often.
