Crocodile Cafe Closed!
It’s not a rumor!
The Crocodile Cafe, a night life institution that climbed to fame during the Seattle grunge era, closed suddenly yesterday. While there had been rumors of financial struggles, the closing took many by surprise.
Hold on to those memories!

I can’t believe it! I remember going to The Croc and seeing Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Mudhoney in the very early 90s before they were famous. I wasn’t even old enough to be there! I am shocked they closed for financial reasons and not liquor law violations. Aah, the memories.

Lots of people with lots of memories. I was surprised to hear that they were closing doors for financial reasons, too.

Are you kidding me by saying that you are surprised to hear that they were closign doors? Come on, hwo many clubs out there search you all over before they let you in? The place looked even liek a dump. I went there once about a year ago, and I was surprised there were people in that dump.
