Don’t Forget to Mail In a Ballot if You’re Traveling
If travel is in your plans next month, don’t forget that November 6th is Washington’s general election.
36 Washington Counties have made the transition to all-mail voting. All you have to do is make sure that you fill out your ballot and mail it in no later than the election date. You should receive you ballot approximately 14 days prior to the election date.
If you are in one of the remaining counties that has not switched yet switched over to all-mail voting (King County does not switch over until 2008), you may need to request an absentee ballot. You can request an absentee ballot NOW (no more than 90 days prior to the election).
For more voter and election information, you should refer to the State Voters’ Pamphlet, consult the Voter Information Hotline at (800) 448-4881, or check the website here.
