Drive Safely in Seattle
Seattle speeders — slow down! Cause if you don’t, it’s going to cost you an additional $10 per violation (effective July 1st).
While part of the reason for the increase in the fee for a speeding ticket is to help provide an incentive for law abiding behavior, thereby avoiding high risk driving habits, the additional revenue generated by the fee increase will go to form a enforcement task for reducing car theft. (Washington ranks very high nationally in annual car thefts.)
The moral of this story: Slow down — and lock your car!
