Election Day

by Mary Jo on November 6th, 2007

There are a lot of big issues before the voters today, so I’m urging everyone to exercise your responsibility as a citizen and vote.

Whether we agree with one another or not, I believe we all have a responsibility to make our voices heard.  And the easiest way to do that is to cast our votes.  The process depends on us.

Because of my travel schedule, I have a standing absentee ballot.  In many counties you are able to mail in your ballot.  However, in many counties you still must appear personally at the polls to cast your ballot.

People and fought and died for the right which we often carelessly ignore or toss aside.  Make today the day you make it of higher importance.

Go out and vote!
