Goodnight Moon at Seattle Children’s Theater
If your Seattle travel plans have you with kids in tow, don’t forget Goodnight Moon
In this case, though, I’m not talking about the charming storybook written by Margaret Wise Brown. I’m referring to “Goodnight Moon,” the musical theater production offered at Seattle Children’s Theater at the Seattle Center.
The cast consists of four actors and assorted puppets. For those of you familiar with the book, the mouse will be found on stage throughout the play, and you’ll recognize a lot of friendly characters and themes. If you don’t understand anything that I’m talking about, find a child and let them tell you about it.
Location: Seattle Children’s Theater, Seattle Center campus.
Times: The play runs through March 10th, with a variety of show times.
Tickets: $16-32. Available online.
Songs and dialogue are by Seattle resident, Chad Henry. While noted for his very successful, and very adult themed, “Angry Housewives,” this play is definitely G-rated, and is suitable for the entire family. Recommended for ages four and older.
