Hula Hoop Your Way to Health

by Mary Jo on June 14th, 2008

Hula Hooping for exercise If your exercise routine has gotten a little boring, you can add a little variety by channeling your inner retro 50’s spirit, with a little hula hooping at Hoop Delite.

Don’t laugh!  Hula hooping provides a total body workout, while building core strength, and is a low impact aerobic activity.  It also promotes creativity, coordination, and confidence, which means that it’s a great activity for your body, mind, and soul.

Classes are very popular, and book up quickly.

Location:  Bitter Lake Community Center, 13035 Linden Avenue North (map it)

Dates & Times:  Friday, 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Price:  A 5-week series of classes costs $130 (including a Swirly Hoop and a Hoop Tote), or $100 without the hoop and tote.  You can book your class online.

One and two hour workshops are offered for team building exercises, girl’s night out, corporate activities and other special group event.
