It’s Easy to be Green
If you’re having some difficulty finding ways to incorporate “green” into your life, you’ll want to check out the SEATTLE HOME SHOW 2. With the theme Better Ideas + Living Green, you’ll find lots of eco-conscious options among the nearly 500 exhibits, displaying everything for your home and garden, from interior design and remodeling to landscaping and outdoor entertaining.
The year’s fall show features exhibits and information about living green, and highlights ways to reduce waste, recycle, and to use environmentally-friendly building techniques and products. A tour of the NW Modern home by Ideabox will show how you can take advantage of sustainable materials and maximize energy efficiency. All that, and looking good, too!

Location: Qwest Field Event Center, 1000 Occidental Avenue South (map it)
Dates & Times: Thursday, October 11th - Sunday, October 14th, 2007. 10 am - 8:30 pm, Sunday 10 am - 6 pm.
Admission: $9 adults, $6 seniors (60+), $3 juniors (7-15), under 7 FREE. There are discount coupons available in local papers. A special “too much to see, come back for free” policy allows show visitors to register for a return visit with free admission; ID required. Tickets can be purchased online or at the facility box office.
Shuttle: A free Metro shuttle will be available on Saturday and Sunday, leaving from Northgate, South Bellevue and the South Renton Park & Ride lots.
Parking: Qwest Field Event Center parking garage, Qwest Field north lot, Safeco Field parking garage, the Union Street parking garage, various private parking lots and on street parking.
