It’s Snowing at Pacific Place

by Mary Jo on December 19th, 2007

You can enjoy a little snow while holiday shopping at Pacific Place, where those flakes will fall right on schedule.

And that schedule is 6 pm every evening, when faux snow comes falling down.  Most evenings also feature musical entertainment.  Shopping, music, snow?  All of a sudden it sounds like your sown personal snow globe.

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA If you’re a snow globe fan, check out the new collectible snow globe featuring a number of Seattle-area landmarks.  The 2007 globe plays "The Nutcracker Suite."  Last year’s globe (it plays "White Christmas") is also still available.  The globes can be purchased online, or at the Pacific Place Concierge Desk (level one and three), and proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.

Location:  6th & Pine, downtown (map it)

Date & Time:  Through December 24th, 6 pm

Price:  Falling snow is free.  Falling snow in a globe, $49.99.
