Join a Winter Celebration at Woodland Park Zoo

sloth bear While hibernation may be winter’s status quo for many animals, it doesn’t have to be for you, and this special programming coincides with many of the school vacation times.

Find out how animals spend their winter break with Winter Celebration at Woodland Park Zoo.  This special event, part of the zoo’s ongoing enrichment program, features holiday-themed treats and special presents for several of the animals, making it fun for both zoo visitors and zoo residents. 

Location:  Woodland Park Zoo, N 50th & Fremont Avenue North (map it)

Dates & Times:  Wednesday - Friday, December 19th - 21st, and December 26-28th.   Check the times for special events here.  (I’ve got my eye on the sloth bear exhibit.)  Zoo hours are 9:30 am - 4 pm.

Admission:  Zoo admission is $10.50 for adults, &7.50 for kids (ages 3-12), toddlers (0-2) are free.  Discounts for seniors and people with disabilities.  There is no additional fee for Winter Celebration events.
