Lettuce Show You How to Plant a Salad Garden

by Mary Jo on August 13th, 2007

Learn to grow lettuce at Seattle Tilth How great would it be to walk out into your back yard to get the lettuce you need for a salad for dinner tonight?  With a little bit of knowledge, and some assistance from Seattle Tilth, it can be nearly as simple as driving to the supermarket.

You can get that knowledge at a Salad Gardening Workshop.  You’ll need an approximate four foot square plot of ground, a little planning, and an hour and a half for the workshop.  A little effort can yield plentiful results.
