Details: Seattle Public Library.
With a reputation as the most literate city of 2006, and one of two Seattle buildings on the list of the top 150 favorite buildings in the United States, the Seattle Central Library is located 1000 Fourth Avenue (between Spring & Madison and Fourth & Fifth Avenue).
Built of steel, glass, and aluminary, it features a soaring atrium that changes the feel of the library as the weather changes. It’s a very fun design, and you have to look very closely to find the entrance.
