Photo Op: Tacoma’s Museum of Glass at Dusk

Tacoma Museum of Glass at dusk

Details:  The Museum of Glass in on the Thea Foss Waterway in Tacoma (1801 Dock Street) is dedicated to a learning environment about glass in its many creative and artistic forms.  It’s recognizable by its 90-foot high cone, which has become a prominent part of the Tacoma skyline.

You’ll find a rotating series of exhibitions, a children’s creative play area, and the always fascinating Hot Shop where visitors can watch demonstrations of blowing and working with molten glass.

The Chihuly Bridge of Glass links the Museum of Glass to the Tacoma Museum District.
