Seattle Notables Spotted Around Town
If you want to know where the famous or infamous hang out in Seattle, or maybe where you’ll find the quirky personalities this city offers up, Seattle Notables will become regular reading.
In an experiment by Belltown’s gallery/event space McLeod Residence, the website posts photos of area celebrities doing average, ordinary, every day kind of things.
There’s a map that shows where people have been recently spotted, along with individual pages for every “notable” and every “notable location.” This allows you to search out where your favorite notable has been spotted, or to search by who has been spotted at your favorite restaurant, bar, or attraction. There’s also a way for you to submit your own “spottings.”
Checking it out today, I found that Dale Chihuly was spotted at the Westin, and Dee Dee Rainbow was spotted at the Triple Door.
The website is done with lots of humor and irony, and is not designed to ridicule or humiliate. Take a look, and just have a little fun with it.
