Shocking News: There’s Steroid Use in Baseball
While the Mitchell report contains lots of background, investigatory processes, recommendations and history, what people around the country really want to know is WHO. We want names.
No current Seattle Mariners were listed in the report, but the name of 12 former players were noted. A few former fan favorites whose names appeared in the report include Jose Guillen, Ryan Franklin, Ron Villone, David Segui, and David Bell.
Some of the allegations are pretty tawdry. It’s going to take some time to sort everything out and make the changes that need to be made, but I’m guessing that fans will still be flocking to Safeco Field. After all, it appears that the fans are the only ones who aren’t shocked to learn that there’s steroid use in baseball.
