Check Out this Week’s Carnival of Cities

Another week, and I’m proud to have participated in the Carnival of Cities, a weekly listing of some of the best city blogging you’ll find around the web.
This week’s Carnival was hosted by CatSynth.com, so you’ll want to head over to read the full list of blog posts.  You’ll also want to browse through and look at some great cat photos, too!
It was hard to decide on a favorite post for the week because there were some many interesting, well written articles.  I’ve added a lot of new ideas to my travel to-do list.  But I finally decided …read more

Carnival of Cities Explained & Enjoyed

Carnival of Cities Explained & Enjoyed

One of the enjoyable things that I get to do as a city blogger, is to explore and discover things about Seattle and the surrounding area and then share my discovery with you.  I have a fascination with my city, and hope that I can convey that to you.
One of the other enjoyable things that I get to do is meet, mingle, and read about other cities through relationships with other city bloggers.  They are as enthusiastic about their cities as I am about my mine.

Carnival of Cities & Trieste, Italy

Carnival of Cities & Trieste, Italy

This week’s Carnival of Cities was hosted by Sheila at Family Travel, and it features an eclectic assortments of posts from around the world.

My favorite contribution to the carnival this week was Amsterdam Attractions Under Attack.  Apparently, some of the adult attractions of the gateway city are making the city less risque and more family friendly.  If sex, drugs, and rock and roll are your passion, you’ll want to get to Amsterdam before these vices are gone.
And after you’re done reading about Amsterdam, click on over to Traveling Mamas, and read all the rest of this week’s posts.
My contribution to the Carnival was the post on Tom Douglas.  …read more

Carnival of Cities – April 2nd – Hosted by The Seattle Traveler

Welcome to the April 2, 2007 edition of Carnival of Cities. It was my pleasure to host the carnival here at The Seattle Traveler this week, and it’s been a lot of fun. Of course, with great writers like we have here, it’s also easy!
