Details:  Qwest Field, the home field advantage for the Seattle Seahawks, is a recognizable part of the Seattle skyline.  With a seating capacity of about 67,000, the noise generated by fans can often be heard throughout the downtown core.  Seahawk opponents claim the stadium noise make it one of the ultimate home field advantages.

Hard to believe that we’re talking football already, but the Seahawk training camp has already started.
The annual Seahawk Scrimmage game will be held this weekend, giving fans the first opportunity to see how this season’s team comes together. 
Proceeds from the scrimmage game benefits the King and Pierce County "Play it Smart" Program, an education program targeted at high school football players from economically disadvantaged environments.

The Seattle Home Show starts next weekend, again featuring over 600 exhibitor booths covering all things related to home and garden. 
There will be five model homes, completely furnished and landscaped, including lots of ideas for living green.
Whether you’re looking to build, buy, or remodel a home, or just get some practical information for every day living, you’ll find ideas for every nook and cranny of your home and yard.

There are still a few more days left to wander through the over 600 exhibitor booths at the 63rd Annual Seattle Home Show.
With the theme, “Better Idea Show,” you’re sure to find lots of ideas for home improvement, décor, landscaping, and other design ideas.  Having been through the building of two homes, I devoured information and ideas that I found at previous shows.  While not everything was my style, or within my budget, I gathered lots of information and ideas, and was then able to make informed purchases when the time came.  Besides that – it’s fun to dream a …read more
