I was traveling into Seattle this morning on the bus.  I confess that I don’t always take the bus when I’m coming into the city, especially at night, but during daylight and/or business hours, I’m a BIG public transportation fan.
As I sat on the bus reading my Kindle, we were zipping along in the HOV (high occupancy vehicle) lane.  When I’d occasionally glance up, all I could see were the brakes lights of all the cars parked, er, I mean driving, on the freeway.

With 2009 cars now on the market, Washington State residents in looking to purchase a new car have the new Clean Car Law to think about in making their purchase.  This new regulation provides stricter requirements than the Federal Emissions Guidelines.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people come to Seattle to attend a trade show, conference, or convention.  For some people, this means a drive across town or the bridge, while for others it means a trip across the country.
If you’re coming to Seattle for such an event, chances are good that you’ll be spending some time at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in downtown.  Located right next to I-5 (in fact it goes over the freeway), the convention center opened in 1988, and later doubled in size to over 200,00 square feet of exhibit space.

I have met many wonderfully generous people through blogging, and the depth of their knowledge and willingness to share it with others is truly amazing.

Washington’s new “Top 2” Primary Election gets its first test today, so make sure you are a part of it.
The two candidates that receive the top number of votes in each race, regardless of party affiliation, will advance to the general election.
If you have questions about the primary election, the Secretary of State has the answers. 
Your vote matters – so get to your polling place today!  If you don’t know your polling place, Or, if you are an absentee voter, make sure that your ballot is postmarked today!
