Thread - A Fashion Trade Show - November 5th

by Mary Jo on October 30th, 2006

If you’re a fan of Project Runway, love fashion, or enjoy being the first on the block to sport the new season’s clothes, you’ll want to hit the Thread Show, Sunday, November 5th in Fremont.

Thread at Fremont StudiosThread is a showcase of emerging fashion designers, set amid music and art.  Shoppers can pick up one-of-a-kind pieces, including clothing for men, women, and children, bags and purses, jewelry, and accessories.

While new designers usually have an uphill battle getting a few precious inches of rack space in boutiques, at Thread they can show the entire line.  This means you can buy before the fashion hits the shelves, usually at greatly reduced prices.

Thread is both a Fashion and a Lifestyle show, with runway shows, art exhibitions, DJ’s to keep the music going, cocktails, gift bags, all the good stuff that designer shopping should be.

Over 50 independent fashion and accessory designers from around the country will be showing their goods, including many from the Pacific Northwest.  Gary Manuel Salon will have on-site complimentary hairstyling and makeup, and Salon Dewi will provide chair massages and spa services.  Appetizers and cocktails will be available.

Over a thousand people are expected at the Fremont Studios, a warehouse space of over 15,000 square feet, so get there early.  The first 250 guests receive a Thread gift bag.

Date & Time:  Sunday, November 5th, 11 am-6 pm

Location:  Fremont Studios, 155 North 35th Street, Seattle.  Parking is available on the street, and at nearby pay lots.

Admission:  $7 at the door.  Register online, and admission is $5.
