Traveling with the Carnival of Cities

Carnival of Cities Another week of interesting posts about cities around the world with The Carnival of Cities.

My favorite contribution to the carnival this week was Amsterdam Attractions Under AttackApparently, some of the adult attractions of the gateway city are making the city less risque and more family friendly.  If sex, drugs, and rock and roll are your passion, you’ll want to get to Amsterdam before these vices are gone.

And after you’re done reading about Amsterdam, click on over to Traveling Mamas, and read all the rest of this week’s posts.

My contribution to the Carnival was the post on Tom Douglas.  You can still enter to win an autographed cookbook by leaving a comment on any post before the end of the month.

Okay, I will stand up and be the first! I traveled in Europe in 1974, and I will never forget Amsterdam! We went down the water way in the glass bottomed boat. Then, here come all the windows with the women for sale in them. I was really shocked. It has left an imprint on me! Cindi
